From project to reality: light, elegance, and winter atmosphere at Spazio Field, Palazzo Brancaccio
There are projects where the atmosphere is not born solely from flowers or decorative elements, but above all from light.
For this winter wedding at Spazio Field in Palazzo Brancaccio, the objective was to create an elegant, refined, and deeply immersive reception, capable of transforming the location’s historic spaces through warm and scenic lighting.
The project revolved around a very specific element:
long 40 cm taper candles, designed to become the visual heart of the entire arrangement.
With ARCHIFLOR®, we developed a complete immersive design to allow the couple to understand in advance how light, volumes, and floral compositions would interact within the room.
The initial idea
The reception featured an elegant and contemporary setup, characterized by:
- round tables
- imperial table
- sophisticated and delicate palette
- light yet refined floral compositions
- extensive use of long taper candles
The main objective was to build a luminous and theatrical atmosphere without weighing down the environment.
The candles were to become an integral part of the scenery, creating depth, movement, and reflections capable of completely transforming the perception of the space during the evening reception.
The design challenge consisted of understanding:
- the correct quantity of candles
- the balance between light and floral compositions
- the actual perception of heights
- the scenic distribution between round and imperial tables
- the final atmosphere of the room during evening hours
Visualization before the event
With ARCHIFLOR®, four immersive photorealistic 3D renderings were developed to allow the couple to visualize every detail of the setup even before it was created.
The following were produced:
- detail of the floral composition and candles
- complete round table
- imperial table
- general view of the room
Each rendering was built respecting:
- actual ambient lighting
- candle light temperature
- scenic proportions
- real materials and textures
- evening perception of the space
This allowed for a concrete understanding of:
- the impact of the candles on the atmosphere
- the balance between full and empty spaces
- the light distribution in the room
- the dialogue between tables and architecture
- the emotional depth of the project
The renderings made immediately legible what would have been very difficult to imagine through mood boards or photographic references alone.
When the project takes shape
The final realization perfectly confirmed what was developed during the design phase.
The long taper candles transformed the environment, creating a warm, elegant, and enveloping light.
The floral compositions maintained lightness and refinement, accompanying the light without overpowering it.
The combination of round tables, the imperial table, and diffused lighting built a sophisticated and immersive scenery, capable of enhancing the historic architecture of Spazio Field.
The final atmosphere was intimate, elegant, and deeply emotional, perfectly consistent with what the couple had visualized in the renderings.
The details that make the difference
In this project, the true scenic element was the light.
The 40 cm taper candles introduced verticality, visual rhythm, and luminous depth without being invasive.
The floral compositions were designed to accompany the light, creating movement and softness around the flames.
The delicate palette of the flowers, combined with the light materials of the mise en place, contributed to building an elegant and contemporary atmosphere.
