From Concept to Reality: Contemporary Botanical Elegance at Scuderie San Giorgio
There are projects where every decorative element must find its own balance within the space.
For this event at Scuderie San Giorgio, the challenge was to create a contemporary botanical atmosphere capable of harmonizing with the authentic character of the venue without losing elegance and lightness.
Scuderie San Giorgio embodies a precise aesthetic: that of the Apulian masseria reinterpreted in a modern key, where natural materials, light, and architecture coexist in perfect balance.
Wedding planner Giulia Zompatori envisioned a project with a strong natural and scenic character, developed between the religious ceremony in the adjoining chapel and a refined reception built around material contrasts and botanical details.

The Initial Concept
The event unfolded in two distinct yet perfectly connected moments:
- the religious ceremony in the chapel
- the natural botanical reception
For the ceremony, the design included:
- large floral embraces surrounding the couple
- a nave decorated with true floral gardens
- natural and deliberately deconstructed compositions
- a soft and luminous palette
For the reception, the objective was to create a refined balance between very different elements:
- total white flowers
- white linen tablecloths
- black wrought iron chairs
- black and white taper candles
- light floral elements with black accents
The primary need of the wedding planner and the couple was to understand how these contrasts would appear once actually placed in the space.
The risk was that the black elements might interrupt the delicacy of the atmosphere or appear too strong against the light palette of the design.
Visualization Before the Event
With ARCHIFLOR®, six immersive photorealistic 3D renderings were created to allow the wedding planner and the couple to visualize every phase of the event with extreme precision.
The following were developed:
Ceremony
- detail of the floral embraces
- complete view of the ceremony
Reception
- decorative detail of the table
- round table
- imperial table
- general view of the reception
Each rendering was created respecting:
- actual materials of the venue
- linen texture
- relationship between light and candles
- chromatic balance between white and black
- floral volumes and perception of space
This allowed perfect understanding of:
- the balance between lightness and character
- the distribution of decorative elements
- the impact of the black chairs in the design
- the scenic depth of the room
- the coherence between ceremony and reception
When the Design Takes Shape
The final realization delivered with extreme precision everything that had been developed during the design phase.
The natural botanical elements created movement and softness, while the black details introduced depth and character without interrupting the overall elegance of the design.
The black taper candles, paired with the wrought iron chairs, created a sophisticated contrast capable of further enhancing the total white palette of the flowers and fabrics.
The ceremony maintained an intense yet natural atmosphere, while the reception perfectly expressed the dialogue between contemporary minimalism and botanical romance.
The final result was highly appreciated by the wedding planner, the couple, and the guests.
The suspended elements introduced movement and verticality without weighing down the space, while the candles and table runner helped create visual rhythm and continuity between the different areas of the reception.
The final result delivered exactly what the wedding planner and the couple desired:
an elegant, emotional, and deeply harmonious reception.

In this project, the true balance emerged from the contrasts.
The absolute white of the flowers and fabrics was enhanced by the controlled presence of black elements, creating a sophisticated yet never excessive setting.
The natural and deconstructed floral compositions introduced lightness and movement, avoiding an overly constructed or rigid perception.
The candles amplified depth, atmosphere, and material perception of the space.
Every detail was designed to create harmony:
volumes, colors, transparencies, and light were calibrated before the final realization.
