From project to reality: monumental scenographies at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano
There are locations where every scenographic choice must dialogue with the space without overpowering it.
For this project at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, the challenge was not simply to create a high-impact floral arrangement, but to truly understand its final effect within the historic Hall of the Caesars.
Wedding planner Rita Ferrari had envisioned significant compositions, developed vertically and designed to create a strong scenographic effect. The client, however, needed to see concretely how the arrangement would dialogue with the environment in the various planned configurations.

The initial idea
The design objective was to create an elegant and monumental scenography capable of enhancing the castle’s architecture without compromising its aesthetic balance.
The floral compositions were developed on 130 cm high structures with an extension exceeding 160 cm above the table.
The central element of the project was a large, scenographic green canopy from which hanging orchids descended in chain-like loops, creating movement, depth, and visual lightness.
The arrangement had to adapt to multiple configurations:
- round tables
- imperial table
- overall view of the hall
All accompanied by silver linens and silver Parisian chairs, chosen to maintain consistency with the historic elegance of the location.
Visualization before the event
With ARCHIFLOR®, we developed three immersive photorealistic renderings to allow the wedding planner and clients to perfectly understand proportions, volumes, and scenographic impact.
The following were created:
- rendering of the single table
- rendering of the imperial table
- panoramic rendering of the hall
Every element was designed respecting materials, lighting, heights, and the real perception of the space.
This allowed for a precise analysis of:
- the relationship between compositions and architecture
- the balance of heights
- the visual effect of the hanging orchids
- the rendering of silver tones in the hall

The silver palette of the linens and seating contributed to creating visual continuity with the materials and atmosphere of the castle.
